Contest Rules
- To participate in the contest, you must have read all the rules.
- All decisions by the judge are immutable
- Any personage who reads this paragraph falls under the rules of this contest and becomes a participate. The Reading of any word in the previously aforementioned paragraph signifies that you, the reader, do agree to participate in the contest. This agreement is binding in all locations, where in the locations in the which this paragraph is not binding, the reader also agrees that this agreement is, in fact, binding.
- Any contestant who wishes to break the above agreement may sufferer penalties up to and including exclusion from the contest.
- Any contestant who wishes to complain about any and all rules of this contest may petition the judge, who may extend partial or full amnesty to any of previous rules, or partial or full amnesty to the rules that follow. Amnesty to this rule must be submitted as per regulations in rule 6.
- There is no rule six
- Rules are subject to change on the whim of the patron/judge. All contestants are required to follow the rules including the ones which might not currently exist.
Judge’s note: I do not take complaints. See Rule # 2 if you have any issues with that.
Scoring:
- 1. Each contestant shall enter one(1) contest entry.
- 2. It shall be scored.
- 3. Contestants will get:
- one(1) point for entering said entry.
- one(1) point for turning it in on time.
- one(1) point per thousand(1000) words.
- one(1) point if spelling and grammar are deemed “adequate.”
- one(1) point for staying on topic.
- one(1) point for including the item mentioned in the assignment as the “bonus.”
- one(1) point for commenting on others entry. Only awarded if you CONSTRUCTIVE criticism is longer than a breadbox.
- one(1) point if I like the title.
